Chapter Numbering in Review View
Review View automatically applies numbering to the topics in a publication. The numbering is only for the review. It can help reviewers to identify specific sections when communicating with authors and contributors.
Note
Paligo applies your Layout settings when you publish. They do not affect the assignment views (Review View, Edit View, Suggest View).
Be aware that the numbering you see in the assignment views can be different to any numbering you see in your outputs.

If you have disabled numbering in your Layout, you will have no numbering in your published output. But the assignment views will always show numbering.

If you have set Paligo to display internal subsections in your Layout, your published output may have different numbering compared to the assignment views. This only affects reused sections and child sections.
