Align an Image

Use the align attribute to set the alignment for images.

  1. Edit a topic that contains the image. Alternatively, add an image or figure to a topic.

  2. Select the image.

  3. In the element structure menu, select the imagedata element.

It shows the currently selected elements in a hierarchy - section for the topic, mediaobject and imageobject for the image's containers, and imagedata for the image itself. There is a callout box around the imagedata element to show that this is the element of interest.
  4. In the Element attributes section, add the align attribute and set its value.

    You can choose from:

    • Left

    • Center

    • Right

  5. Select Save. Save icon.
