[en] Templates and Translation
[en] Paligo templates cannot be translated directly. But, by using Paligo's content reuse features, it is possible to add translatable content to a template. It works like this:
-
[en] To add a section to a template, create a regular topic and add the content to it. Then insert that topic as a component in the template.
-
[en] To add an admonition to a template, create a suitable admonition component and add the content to it. Then insert the admonition as a component in the template.
-
[en] To add a combination of elements, such as paragraphs, images and lists, create an informal topic and add the content to it. Then insert the informal topic as a component in the template.
[en] To translate the content, send the components for translation. When the translation is made, it applies to the components and is available wherever the components are used, including in templates.

[en] If you use components in templates, be aware that any changes that are made in the components will also be inherited by the templates.
